The Polestar 2 is widely regarded as one of the most complete electric cars on the market. Its slick, minimalist design is like something from the future. Its ability to deliver powerful performance while remaining true to the companies roots in sustainability - makes it unique.
We’ve taken a deep dive into the distinctive and innovative features that this car offers, so you can discover exactly what you’re getting when you rent a Polestar 2 from us. Let’s Go!
When there’s more than one driver, constantly having to adjust your seat, mirrors and other settings can become a chore. The Polestar 2 remembers your preferences on your personal profile and makes those adjustments for you.
Several types of adjustable lighting are equipped in the Polestar passenger compartments for the comfort of both the driver and passengers. These include reading lights, programmable courtesy lights and footwell lighting.
The power-operated tailgate on the Polestar 2 has hands-free opening for those times when your hands are full. Just wave your foot under the back bumper with the key in range to open or close the trunk.
The Polestar 2’s 255-watt, eight-speaker audio system can be adjusted from the right-hand steering wheel keypad, or via Google Assistant using voice command.
There are four USB-C ports in the Polestar 2 – two in the front and two in the back. With the optional Plus Pack, you can also add a wireless charging pad under the center display.
Controlling your journey while on the road with Polestar is simple. The steering wheel and dual stalks have a wide range of functions within easy reach, from cruise control and windscreen wipers to the volume of your music.
Energy-efficient LED lights, designed in a unique light-blade and origami-inspired design, are instantly recognizable as Polestar. These smart lights, using a sensor hidden in the windshield to detect other cars’ headlights or taillights, automatically adjust their brightness between high or low-beam to avoid dazzling other drivers.
The Polestar 2 has 405 liters of rear luggage space, growing up to 1,095 liters with the seats down and shelf removed. And the best part? It must be the extra 35 liters you get under the hood in the frunk (front trunk). You’ll also find tire-sealing equipment and tools stored here.
Move the headlight stalk – to the left of the steering wheel – forward and release to activate the Home Safe Lighting feature – it’ll keep the external lights on to help you find your way to your door. You can set the duration with the center display.
See the video on LED lights for more detail.
The Polestar 2 uses frameless mirrors for maximum visibility and improved aerodynamics. Smart adjustment features mean you can dim bright reflections at night, tilt your mirrors or fold them in at the touch of a button. They also look beautiful.
