Where is the Hertz car rental desk at Nice Airport?

The Hertz Nice Airport car rental desk is located within the car rental center, a separate building near to Terminal 2, where you’ll also find the car park. Our office is open between the hours of 7.30am and 00.00am Monday to Sunday, so there’s plenty of time to collect your Nice Airport car rental.

From Terminal 1, you can get a shuttle bus from Gate A0 on the arrivals floor to Terminal 2 where the rental center is located. Once there, it’s a short walk to the car rental center and it’s clearly signposted for your convenience.

From Terminal 2, head out the main doors and the car rental center is behind Car Park P5, it’s a short walk to the Hertz desk from there.

There are regular shuttle buses between Terminals 1 and 2 to the car parks at Nice Airport, these run every fifteen minutes between 4.30am to around 1.30am. These are free to use. There is also a tram line that runs between the two terminals – you can get to Terminal 2 within three minutes using the tram system.

How to get from Nice Airport to Nice city center?

Nice is a 20-minute drive from Nice Airport. The journey is simple:

1. From the car rental car park, head north-east on Boulevard Jacqueline Auriol Supérieur before continuing on to Avenue Rene Couzinet.
2. At the roundabout du Voyageur, you will take the first exit towards Avenue Santos Dumont.
3. After 450 metres, turn left on to Avenue Auguste Maicon before turning right on to Boulevard Rene Cassin.
4. From here, continue towards Voie Mathis, Voie Pierre Mathis/Voie Rapide and after 4.5km use the 2^nd from right lane to take the exit and head towards Nice-Nord before turning left on to Rue Miollis.
5. Take a left on to Rue Clement Roassal, before turning right onto Rue Alfred Binet. Take another right onto Boulevard Joseph Garnier before turning slightly left where it becomes Place du General de Gaulle.

Where to return your rental car

Returning your Hertz rental car to Nice Airport is quick and easy. Travelling from Nice? Here’s a quick guide for getting back:

1. Head east on Voie Pierre Mathis/Voie Rapide and then take a right on to Avenue Du Xveme Corps before taking a left to merge back on to Voie Pierre Mathis.
2. Use the right-hand lane to get on to the slip road to Les Bosquets, and then use the two left lanes on to Avenue Raymond Feraud and then on to Prom. De Angalis for 3.1 km.
3. Following signs for the airport, take the 1^st exit on to Boulevard Leon Morane and keep left towards Avenue Dider Daurat.
4. Take a slight left to Boulevard Jacqueline Auriol Supérieur and follow the signs for the car rental center to the right.

What to do when you return your rental car

Once you’ve parked your car in the rental parking lot, just head towards the Hertz rental desk inside the car rental center located just next to Terminal 2. Our staff will be there to greet you before doing final checks and going through your car return with you.
