  • Interstate 270 (I-270), known locally as the ‘Outerbelt’ connects Columbus to the surrounding suburbs, including Grove City, Dublin, and Westerville.
  • Interstate 670 (I-670) passes through the heart of Downtown and provides access to John Glenn Columbus International Airport.
  • Interstate 70 (I-70) travels through central Columbus, reaching Pittsburgh in the east and Indianapolis in the west.

How to Get From Columbus to John Glenn Columbus International Airport

John Glenn Columbus International Airport is around a 10-minute drive from Downtown. If you’re driving a Hertz car rental, you can return it to our Columbus airport branch.

  1. Leave the Hertz Columbus airport car rental lot and turn right onto International Gateway.
  2. Keep left at the fork and merge onto I-670 W.
  3. Stay on I-670 for four miles.
  4. Use the 2nd from the right lane to take Exit 5 and enter I-71 S.
  5. Take the right two lanes to turn right onto E Spring Street.

 

How to Get From Columbus to Hocking Hills State Park

A day trip to Hocking Hills State Park will take a little over an hour’s drive.

  1. Leave Downtown using I-71 S.
  2. Take Exit 107 to merge onto I-70 E.
  3. At Exit 105A, merge onto the US-33 E and continue for over 40 miles.
  4. Follow the signs for Logan/Bremen and turn right onto OH-664 S.
  5. Stay on OH-664 S until you reach Hocking Hills State Park.
