How to unlock the Chevrolet Blazer

The Chevrolet Blazer is equipped with a Remote Keyless Entry transmitter, or key fob. The fob contains a chip that will identify radio signals sent by your vehicle. The fob will then respond by sending its own signal to the vehicle. The fob comes with set key instructions which you can press to direct the vehicle.

  • The Lock option locks all doors including the liftgate.
  • The Unlock option unlocks the same features.  However, these signals only travel a few feet away. So, you must be within the vicinity to lock or unlock the car.

How to start the Chevrolet Blazer

The Chevrolet Blazer EV is fitted with a Hands-Free Start feature, which will automatically start the vehicle. How to increase the range of a Chevrolet Blazer?

To optimize your driving and charging habits for the Chevrolet Blazer and increase its range, you can do the following:

  • Avoid accelerating abruptly or breaking heavily. Gradual speed changes not only save energy, but also extend the life of your brakes.
  • Anticipate traffic flow and plan your schedule to maneuver around times of high traffic volume.
  • Charging practices also have a direct impact on your Chevrolet Blazer’s battery health and range. Ideally, you should aim for frequent charging sessions, charging only to about 80% of the battery’s daily capacity use. Do not charge to 100% capacity unless it’s necessary. Doing so could lead to a reduction in long-term performance.
