The Chevrolet Blazer is equipped with a Remote Keyless Entry transmitter, or key fob. The fob contains a chip that will identify radio signals sent by your vehicle. The fob will then respond by sending its own signal to the vehicle. The fob comes with set key instructions which you can press to direct the vehicle.

The Chevrolet Blazer EV is fitted with a Hands-Free Start feature, which will automatically start the vehicle. However, for the vehicle to power up for a drive, the key fob must be inside the passenger cabin. You can also remotely start the Chevrolet Blazer using the Remote Start button on the key fob.
To start the vehicle remotely, press and hold the Remote Start button until the parking lamps go off. However, it’s recommended that you only use remote start when the Chevrolet Blazer is charging, so that energy from the charging pot goes towards keeping the cabin at an ideal temperature.
