Camping at Le Mans 24 Hours has become a rite of passage for motorsport fans. With hotel rooms in short supply during race week, the campsites offer a more affordable—and more immersive—way to be part of the action.
Think of it as the Glastonbury of motorsport: tents pitched close to the circuit, the hum of engines in the background, and a crowd that lives and breathes racing. It’s not just about saving money—it’s about waking up in the middle of it all.
All official campsites at the 24 Hours of Le Mans are accessible by car and support tents, caravans, and campervans. Sanitary facilities are provided, and free shuttles run between the campsites, grandstands, and fan zones.
Please note: you’ll need a general admission ticket to access any of the Le Mans camping areas.

Just inside the circuit enclosure, Beausejour camping Le Mans puts you next to the sweeping Porsche Curves—one of the fastest, most exciting parts of the track. Owned by Danish operator K-Rejser, this site is all about speed and flow. If you want to feel the cars blast past at full throttle, this is the place.
Houx is the only Le Mans camping site with electricity. Nestled in woodland near the paddocks, the village, and the tram stop, it’s a top pick for those who want a central base and easy access to other parts of the track. The shaded pitches are a welcome bonus in the summer heat.

Located outside the circuit enclosure, Tertre Rouge camping is ideal if you want quick access to the Le Mans Museum and the Dunlop Bridge. It overlooks the right-hand kink that sends cars flying down the Mulsanne Straight—perfect for dramatic viewing, even without a grandstand.
Camping at Mulsanne Corner puts you at one of the most demanding braking points on the circuit. The site is close to local shops and a golf course, with a big screen nearby so you can follow the rest of the race from your pitch. It’s quieter and more spacious than some of the inner-track campsites, making it a smart choice for longer stays.

Looking for something more relaxed? About 12 minutes’ drive from the track, Camping Le Pont Romain offers a quieter alternative to camping near Le Mans France. This site features wooden chalets, bungalows, and Canadian-style tents—plus a heated outdoor pool if you want to cool off between practice sessions.
