What is Hertz Neighborhood delivery?

Hertz Neighborhood delivery provides fast and convenient delivery of your car rental when you’re unable to make it to the rental location. Instead of having to reschedule another collection time, we will come to you. Features of Neighborhood delivery include:

• Available for all Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members.
• Offered in select locations across the U.S.
• Simply phone ahead to your chosen neighborhood Hertz branch to arrange direct delivery and pick-up.

How much does Hertz Neighborhood delivery cost?

Neighborhood delivery starts from $30 each way for delivery
and pick-up. You may be charged extra if you make changes to the booking within
one hour of the scheduled drop-off time.

You can also opt for just the drop-off or pick-up portion of our neighborhood delivery service, depending on your preferences or needs.

Do I need Neighborhood delivery?

Hertz Neighborhood delivery means you can take advantage of much of our rental fleet in the most convenient way possible, delivering straight to your desired location. If there’s a particular vehicle you’re thinking of reserving, contact our Customer Care team or get in touch with a Hertz location near you.

Reserve your ideal car rental in advance and select Hertz
Neighborhood Delivery as an add-on service. To access this service, call ahead
to a local Hertz location and inform us on:

• Your pick-up address
• Your contact number
• Your reservation number

NOTE: Hertz does not provide Pick-Up and Return Service for our airport concession locations. 

What are the alternatives to Neighborhood delivery?

An alternative to neighborhood delivery is the Hertz Local
Edition (HLE) Free Pick Up and Return Service. This service provides free pick-ups and returns on car rentals booked at Hertz Local Edition locations. You must be within 15 minutes distance of a HLE to get your delivery.

To request pick up and return service, simply contact a Hertz local edition location and provide:

• Your contact number
• Pick up address
• Your reservation number.

Reservations must be made with a U.S. address at least 24 hours before starting the rental period to allow enough time to plan pick-up and return services. Pick-ups and returns scheduled for Monday mornings must be communicated on Friday prior to the branch location closing for the weekend. 

Can I cancel Neighborhood delivery?

You can cancel Hertz Neighborhood delivery before the start of your rental period.

What other products and services can I get with my Hertz rental?
