This optional service reduces your financial liability for any non-mechanical roadside assistance you require. One of our recovery partners will swiftly get to the scene and help you get back on the road or take you to the closest Hertz location for further assistance.
Roadside Assistance to Get You Back on the Road
Our emergency roadside assistance covers you for non-mechanical issues such as:
Lost Keys/ Locked in Car
If you lose your keys or accidentally lock them in the car, our recovery partners will head to your location and transfer you to the nearest Hertz center. Office staff will then assist you in getting back on the road as quickly as possible.
Dead Battery
If the rental’s battery suddenly dies, don’t panic. One of our roadside assistance partners will get to the scene and help you start up the battery once more. If they can’t fire up the battery on location, they’ll transfer you to the nearest Hertz center to get the issue fixed and have you up and running.
Contaminated Gas
Sometimes our minds slip, and we end up putting the wrong gas in our rentals. It’s a surprisingly common mistake. Don’t worry, we’ll remove the existing gas for you so that you can continue to use the rental.
Ran out of Gas
Smack in the middle of the highway with no gas? Relax, one of our partners will head to your location and provide you with enough gas to make it to the closest gas station.
