A Quick Guide to St. Louis

Gateway Arch

St. Louis is blessed with a National Park, right at the heart of the city center. Gateway Arch National Park contains the famous structure, which is the highest man-made monument in the Western Hemisphere. You can travel 630 feet up to the top, via a unique tram ride, and experience unparalleled views of the city and picturesque park below. Plus, there’s the museum below which takes you through St. Louis’ history.

Busch Stadium

Since 2006, Busch Stadium has been the home of baseball in the city, with the St. Louis Cardinals taking to the field in front of nearly 44,000 members of the Cardinal Nation – their fervent fans. If you’re lucky enough to be in town from March to October, catch a ball game. The stadium is so central in Downtown (63102), that you can park up and walk there, shoulder-to-shoulder with the Cardinals faithful.

Missouri Botanical Garden

Step inside this magnificent clear dome structure and discover the leafy wonders of the Missouri Botanical Garden. It’s the second biggest in the US and contains a collection of different attractions. There’s the tranquil 14-acre Japanese garden, a bona fide tropical rainforest in the Climatron Conservatory, as well as European influences in the German, English and Italian-style gardens.

Saint Louis Science Center

Located in Forest Park, Saint Louis Science Center has over 700 interactive exhibits that cover all aspects of science – from Space and Chemistry, to Paleontology and Food. Visit to catch a documentary screened in the OMNIMAX Theater, with its state-of-the-art screen and audio.

Broadway Oyster Bar

Impeccable seafood and authentic Cajun cuisine can be found when reserving a table at Broadway Oyster Bar. There’s live music from a wide variety of local acts and an endless choice of fresh dishes, including Gulf and Blue Point oysters, scallops, Louisiana crawfish, shrimp and more.

Salt + Smoke

As the name suggests, this is the home of St. Louis style BBQ beef. Serving local classics like St. Louis cut ribs, as well as classics like pork and beef combo plates, Salt + Smoke has a mouthwatering collection of gluten-friendly dishes when you reserve.
