How to Get From Palermo to Marsala – Parco Archeologico di Lilibeo

It takes an hour and 33 minutes to drive the 76 miles from Palermo to Marsala in your holiday car rental.

  1. Head south-west on Via Messina towards Via XX Settembre. Turn right onto Via Principe di Villafranca before turning left onto Via Catania. Turn right onto Via Malaspina and you will enter a toll road zone – payment can be made by cash. Make sure you pick the lane that is not reserved for the telepass system.
  2. Continue onto Piazza Ottavio Ziino and then onto Piazza Malaspina. Head onto Via Principe di Palagonia before you turn left onto Via Guglielmo Borremans. Then, take a right turn onto Via Antonio de Saliba/Piazza Rocco Chinnic and then turn left onto Via Antonio de Saliba.
  3. Take the right turn onto Viale della Regione Siciliana Nord Ovest before you take the slip road on the left to A19/Ospedale/Cervello. Merge onto E90 and keep right at the fork to continue on Diramazione Alcamo – Trapani. Follow signs for Trapani/A29dir/Aeroporto Birgi. Continue onto Diramazione Alcamo – Trapani/A29dir/E933 before staying left at the fork to continue on A29 dir.
  4. Use the right lane to take the exit towards Contrada Spagnola/SP21. Keeping right at the fork, follow signs for Marsala/Mothia/Aeroporto Birgi and merge onto Contrada Spagnola/SP21. Merge onto Contrada Spagnola/SP21.
  5. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto SP21. Turn right onto Contrada Spagnola/SP21 and take another right onto Via Giacomo dell'Orto. Via Giacomo dell'Orto turns right and becomes Via Giovanni Falcone. Continue onto Via Vito Falco before taking a final right turn onto Lungomare Boeo.

 

How to Get From Palermo Airport to Parco d’Orleans

Palermo Airport is just a 27-minute drive from Parco d’Orleans in your holiday car rental. Head south-west on A29 Racc. At the roundabout, take the fourth exit and stay on A29 Racc, heading to Palermo/Mazara del Vallo/Alcamo/Trapani. Then, use any lane to merge onto A29/E90 towards Palermo and then keep left to stay on the E90.

Take the Corso Calatafimi exit towards Piazza Indipendenza/Palermo Centro. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Centro and merge onto C.so Calatafimi/SS186. Drive to Corso Re Ruggero and merge onto C.so Calatafimi/SS186 which then turns right and becomes Piazza Indipendenza. Turn left to stay on Piazza Indipendenza and finally keep right to continue on towards the airport.
