How to Redeem Hertz Gold Plus Rewards®

If you’re looking for a little something extra for your next rental, look no further than the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® program. With Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® you earn points for every car you rent. You can redeem these points for free rental days, or even upgraded vehicles, starting at 950 points*. Check out our full rewards chart here.

Ready to redeem those hard-earned points? Just follow these steps next time you make a reservation:

Redeeming Points Online

1. Simply log into your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® account
2. Set your preferred pick-up/drop-off location, date and time on the ‘Start Reservation’ page, and then click continue.
3. Select the type of trip from the pop-up menu. Is it a business or leisure trip?
4. Make sure that ‘Use my Hertz Gold Rewards points’ is checked at the bottom of the pop-up.
5. Select the car you’d like to rent by choosing Pay Now (when available) or Pay Later.
6. On the next screen, you can choose any additional services you may want to add to your rental, such as a damage waiver or additional drivers.
7. On the last ‘Review & Book' step, scroll down to the ‘Payment Information section and click ‘Select to Redeem Free Day.’
8. You’ll then be prompted with the various rewards you can redeem, based on your points balance.
   • It’s worth keeping in mind that standard awards can be subject to ‘blackout’ dates, on which you won’t be able to redeem points. Our Anytime rewards however can be redeemed on any date that suits you. The number of points required for each will vary accordingly.
   • If you don’t see any reward options, it could be that you don’t have enough points for a reward. Take a look at our rewards chart and Anyday Rewards dates for more detail.

•  Once you select which reward to redeem, your new total, less the credit for the reward(s) will be reflected on the checkout page.

Redeeming Points Over the Phone

To redeem your points by phone, call the Rewards Desk at 1-888-999-4900 between the hours of 7 am and 9 pm CT Monday to Friday. Request one of our customer service representatives to help you redeem your points and they’ll assist you.
