How to Get From Thousand Oaks to Los Angeles

It takes 50 minutes to an hour, traffic dependent, to drive the 40 miles from our Thousand Oaks office to Los Angeles in your car rental.

  1. Leave the Hertz car rental office at Thousand Oaks and turn right on to Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
  2. Take the next right and join the US-101 South.
  3. Follow the US-101 South until you reach Exit 2B, taking the right exit to stay on the 101 past the Hollywood Hills.
  4. Stay on the US-101 into downtown Los Angeles.

 

How to Get From Thousand Oaks to Santa Clarita

Santa Clarita is just a 45-minute drive from Thousand Oaks in your rental car. Just drive south on US 101, then take I-405 to Newhall Avenue. Take Exit 2 from CA-14 into Santa Clarita.
