Driving In and Around Moreno Valley

  •  12255 Pigeon Pass Road (92557) is open 24/7 and a short drive in your rental car to downtown attractions such as Moreno Valley Mall, Harkins Theatres Moreno Valley 16 and industrial centers.
  •  Nexus (92551) is a useful lot for access to March Air Reserve Base.
  •  Hunter’s Parking Lot (92555) is open late and close to Perris Reservoir, Lake Perris Amphitheater, Terri Peak Trailhead and the numerous campsites nearby.

 

  • Moreno Valley Freeway (CA 60) leads east to west through the city, providing a route to Riverside and Beaumont.
  • Interstate 10 (I-10) starts in Beaumont, just east of Moreno Valley, and stretches east towards Palm desert in the Coachella Valley and into the desert towards Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Interstate 215 (I-215) is a major route from Moreno Valley towards Temecula in the south and San Bernardino to the north. In both cases, it connects with I-15. This road then heads out to the bright lights of Las Vegas and Nevada beyond.

 

How to Get From Moreno Valley, CA to Riverside, CA

It takes around 20 minutes to drive the 14 miles in your rental car from Moreno Valley to Riverside:

  1. Leave the car rental parking lot in east Moreno Valley and turn right on to Eucalyptus Avenue.
  2. Turn right again at the lights to join Moreno Beach drive, then follow the ramp right onto the Moreno Valley Freeway.
  3. Pass through downtown, then merge onto I-215 North.
  4. Use Exit 34B to get on CA 91 (Riverside Freeway) and keep right to take Exit 64 into the home of University of California, Riverside and Riverside Convention Center.

 

How to Get From Moreno Valley to Long Beach

Long Beach is just a one hour and 20-minute drive from Moreno Valley in your car rental, traffic dependent. Just head north on I-215 to Riverside, then drive west on CA 91. Stay on this road as it curves through Yorba Linda and Anaheim, then take a left at Compton to join I-710. Exit 1C marks Long Beach.
