International Driving Permit (IDP)

Renters failing to present International Driving Permit on pick-up of vehicle, will be refused rental of the vehicle.

It is MANDATORY for the renter to present an International Driving Permit issued from countries under the Vienna or Geneva convention

International Driving Permit must be of "Grade B" to drive up to nine seater vehicles.

Expired International Driving Permit (IDP) or IDP without valid date stated will not be accepted.

Your international Driving Permit must be valid through the duration of your rental.

The renter must have a (1) year or above local license.

EU International Drivers License cannot be used in Korea, EU IDL holders must be issued an IDP to drive in Korea.

One-Way Rentals

Mainland locations:

One way rentals are available within mainland South Korea. Additional surcharges apply according to distance travelled. For the most current and complete information on surcharge fees check at the time of reservation.

Jeju Island:

No one way rentalts are available in Jeju.

Rental rates do not include petrol. HERTZ cars are generally rented with a full tank of petrol. Upon return of vehicle, renter must refill and return with full tank of petrol. Failure to do so, a refuelling service charge will apply in addition to charges for refilling to full tank.

Renters who fail to reach rental requriements will be rejected from renting the vehicle.

You must meet the minimum age restrictions, present a valid International Driving Permit and possess an acceptable charge car in your name.

Required document for pick-up (MANDATORY) -

- International Driving Permit (IDP) of grade "B" from countries under the Vienna or Geneva convention.

- Renter's Credit Card

- Passport

- Expired International Driving Permit (IDP) or IDP without valid date stated is not accepted.

- Your International Driving Permit must be valid through the duration of your rental.
