Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
Coverage: USD 2,000.00 per pax max of 4 paxs plus 1 driver in the vehicle.
Hospitalization and Medical Expenses:
USD 200.00 per pax, max of 4 paxs plus 1 driver in the vehicle.
PAI Rates:
USD 5.00 per passenger per rental
Liability Cover
The Renter is always liable for all damage to the Hertz vehicle. CDW waives part of this liability. This means that the renter is only liable for a minimum sum of USD $70.00 or 1% of the issued or appraised value of the vehicle.
Even with CDW, it shall not cover the following loss or damage:
- Windows and Mirrors
- Wheels and Tires
- Underchassis
- Interior of vehicle (Damage to seats, major stains, etc.)
- Flat battery
- Detachable accessories like car stereo etc.
- Personal belongings
- Lost keys
- Additional equipment such as GPS, child seats, etc.
- Towing Charges
Third Party Liability for Property Damage: MAX USD 4,000.00
Third Party Liability for Death/Bodily Injury: MAX USD 2,000.00
Theft Protection
If a vehicle is stolen the renter will have to pay the non-waivable damage excess.
Marine Cover
Optional cover the customer can purchase when travelling Inter island.
Any damage incurred during the transport of the vehicle and while on the interisland destination is not covered by CDW or SuperCover.
Marine cover waives the liability for full damage of sea water or shipping incidents.
