  3. Turn left to merge on to CA-99 North.

  5. Take exit 298A towards San Francisco / South Lake Tahoe / US-50 East/ I-80 West / Interstate 5.
  6. Follow signs for US-50 West / San Francisco and merge on to US Route 50 West.
  7. Take Exit 4A for Interstate 5 / State Route 99 North towards Redding and Los Angeles.
  8. Merge on to the I-5 North.
  9. Take exit 529 towards Sacramento International Airport, then merge on to Airport Boulevard.

 

How to Get From Modesto to San Francisco

San Francisco is just a 90-minute drive away in your holiday or business car rental. Follow CA-132 West to Interstate 580 West in San Joaquin County. Continue on the I-580 west, following signs for Oakland and San Francisco. Merge on to the I-80 West towards San Francisco, which will take you across the San Francisco – Oakland Bay Bridge and into the city.
