Utah is home to incredible wildlife and amazing adventures in the state's five national parks and other natural areas. It's a perfect place to go if you like adrenaline sports or just want to kick back and enjoy a beautiful view. Major cities include; Park City, world renown for skiing and the Sundance Film Festival, Moab, home to Arches National Park, and Provo. Most visitors will start their trip in Salt Lake City, the capitol and largest city located in the Northern part of the state. With a rental car, you're within an hour of most of the states Urban getaways and within a few hours of many unforgettable natural destinations.

St. George, in the southern part of the state has some of the most stunning natural landscape in America. In the middle of the Mojave Desert, just outside of Zion National Park the summers are hot but winters are mild and a great escape from the snowy north. It is a land of pioneers with a rich history, particularly history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and offers a full calendar of events during the year. St. George is also a mecca outdoor pursuits, outfitters can be found everywhere. St. George offers once in a lifetime experiences for thrill seekers, such as skydiving over Zion National Park or horseback riding in Snow Canyon State Park. Golf is also a major attraction, the city has 13 golf courses that top the list in challenge and beauty.

Drive your rental car southeast to Arches National Park. This area is famous for the gorgeous red rock formations that have been naturally created from wind and other elements to resemble arches. "Delicate Arch" is one of the most famous parts of the entire state. You can hike to see it and enjoy the stunning view of the surrounding rocks and mountainous region. Be aware that the temperature here can get extremely hot, so be sure to bring water and sunscreen. To avoid the heat and the majority of tourists, visit in the morning or evening when the sun is not as bright. At the trailhead at Wolfe Ranch, you can find Native American rock art in the shapes of horses, goats and other animals. Standing on these sacred lands almost makes you feel like you're on another planet.
