  • US Route 191 (US-191) is a north-south spur of US-91 which connects Jackson to the Jackson Hole Airport and Grand Teton National Park.
  • Wyoming Highway 22 (WYO-22), or the Teton Pass Highway, starts in Jackson and runs all the way to the Idaho state line.
  • US Route 89 (US-89) is one of America’s most scenic highways and it runs from Montana to Arizona. It overlaps with US-191 in Jackson before crossing into Idaho. Renting a car means you get to travel on your own terms in Jackson.

 

 

How to get from Jackson Hole Airport to Jackson Town Square

It takes less than 20 minutes to drive with your car rental from the local airport to Jackson.

  1. Leave the Hertz car rental parking lot at Jackson Hole Airport and turn left.
  2. Head straight at the roundabout to join East Airport Road.
  3. Turn right on to US-191 and continue for about 8 miles.
  4. Turn left on to East Gill Avenue, then right on to Center Street. Jackson Town Square is on your right.

 

How to get from Jackson to Grand Teton National Park

The south entrance to Grand Teton National Park is less than 10 minutes from Jackson with a holiday or business car rental. Just follow US-191 for about five miles until you reach the park sign. You can start your hike here or, in the summer months, follow Teton Park Road to the parking lot at Jenny Lake.
