How to Get From Beverly Hills to Downtown Los Angeles

It takes about 25 minutes to drive the 14 miles by rental car from Beverly Hills to downtown Los Angeles, depending on traffic conditions:

  1. Leave the Beverly Hills car rental parking lot at Avenue of the Stars, just south of Beverly Hills.
  2. Turn right on to Avenue of the Stars, then make a U-turn to head south on Avenue of the Stars.
  3. Take a right on to Pico Boulevard, then turn left to join Overland Avenue.
  4. Join I-10 East (Christopher Columbus Transcontinental Highway) and follow signs for Downtown.
  5. Use Exit 14B to cross over on to East 16th Street, then turn right at the lights to join San Pedro Street.

 

How to Get From Beverly Hills to Malibu

Magnificent Malibu is about a 45-minute drive from Beverly Hills. Leave the Beverly Hills car rental and head west on Santa Monica Boulevard, then turn right on to Wilshire Boulevard. In Westwood, take the ramp right to head south on the San Diego Freeway. Join I-10, then head right on the Pacific Coast Highway (US 1).
