·       CC Málaga Plaza, Calle Armengual de la Mota, 12. Covered car park in the Málaga Plaza Shopping Center, a five-minute stroll from the historic city center.

·       DoyouPark Malaga P+R Car Park, Calle del Escritor Herrera Santaolalla. Covered car park that offers a shuttle service to the airport.

·       SABA Estación Málaga María Zambrano Car park, Explanada de la Estación, S/N. Car park at Málaga station, under a five-minute walk from the bus station and Larios shopping center.


A Málaga rental car is ideal for exploring the wider Costa del Sol region. Here are some roads to familiarize yourself with:

·       AP-7. The Autopista del Sol heads southwest along the coast from Málaga, passing through areas like Marbella. This route has tolls.

·       A-7. Runs parallel to the Autopista del Sol and has no tolls. But it is considered busier, especially at commuter times and peak seasons.

·       AP-46. Runs north from Málaga towards Córdoba. This route has tolls. 


Once you’ve collected your Málaga car rental, follow these steps to get into the heart of the city:

·       Leave the Hertz branch in the airport and head north-west. Continue on MA-23.

·       Take Autovía de Circunvalación de Málaga to Avenue de Blas Infante in Málaga.

·       Take exit 7.

·       Continue on Avenue de Blas Infante.

·       Take Avenue de Andalucía to Puente de la Esperanza.
