Driving In and Around Naples

  • Parking Quick Morelli (80121) has 250 spaces, and is located close to Museo Pignatelli, Mappatella Beach and the Palazzo Serra de Cassano. It’s just 30 minutes from our car rental location in central Naples.
  • Quick Parking Porta Capuana (80139) is close to the Museum of Modern Art, Porta Capuana and the Castle Capuana, and has 200 spaces.
  • Parking Del Bosco by Toledo (80131) is open 24 hours a day. It’s close to Real Bosco de Capodimonte, Museo e Real di Capodimonte and Orto Botanico di Napoli. 
  • A1 is 472 miles long in total and runs from the east of Naples from an offshoot of the E45 up to Ceprano, north of the city. It goes on to Milan through Rome, Florence and Bologna. Hop in your rental car for the ultimate Naples road trip.
  • A56 goes from west to east from Pozzuoli to Naples. It travels underneath the city at Via Pietro Castellino and the Real Bosco di Capodimonte before merging with the A1 and the E45 to the east of the city. It’s just over 12 miles long and passes close to our car rental pick-up in Naples’ Area Parcheggio Autonoleggi.
  • E45 is the longest north-to-south route of Europe, at a huge 3,225 miles long. Starting in Alta in Norway, it runs through Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria and Italy. 

How to Get From Naples to Waterpark Happy Days

It takes 29 minutes to drive the 14.1 miles from a Naples car rental center to Waterpark Happy Days.

  1. Leave the Naples car rental lot at Via Enrico Berlinguer. Take the second exit at the roundabout to stay on the Via Enrico Berlinguer. You then need to take a right on to SP527, but keep left to stay on this road. Then take a right on to Cimitero/SP527 and continue on to Via Francesco Compagna.
  2. Swing a right on to Via Caetano Salvervini. You will come to a crossroads where you need to turn left on to Via E. A. Mario. Look for Via Pietro Neni and turn right down there and then take another right down Via S. Marco.
  3. At the next roundabout, take the second exit in your rental car – towards Via Saggese. You’ll come to the Piazzale Nelson Mandela where you take the third exit onto Contrada Marchesa. You should then take the slip road to Nola/Pomigliano and merge on to ex SS162NC/Asse Mediano and keep right to stay on ex SS162NC and follow the signs for Nola/Asse Mediano/SS162.
  4. Keep in the left-hand lane and take the exit towards Zona Industriale Accerra/Cancello. You’ll come to a fork in the road. Stay right and follow the signs for Acerra/Gaudello/Cancello/ExSS162/Valle Caudina.
  5. Make a left turn on to Via Varignano and then a right on to Via Benevento/Cia dei Sanniti/SP338. You should shortly see Via Trotti on your left, take that road and then a right on to Via Monticello Volpone. Turn left on to Via Macello/Via Marco Tullio Cicerone and finally turn left at Via Marinielli. 

 

How to Get From Naples Center to Naples International Airport

The Naples Hertz car rental office at Naples International Airport is just a 10-minute drive from our pick-up at Central Railway Station. Take Corso Novara north to join Via Arenaccia, then turn left down Via San Alfonso Maria de Liguori. Turn right on to Piazza Carlo III then right on to Via don Giovanni Bosco. Keep following the road to a left turn for Via Vincenzo de Giaxa. Turn right then use the roundabout to turn left onto Viale Comandante Umberto Maddelena, then right towards the Hertz rent-a-car office.
