How to Get From Catania to Messina

It takes just 1 hour and 14 minutes to drive the 69 miles from Catania to Messina in your holiday or business rental car.

  1. Leave the car rental car park and head south-west on Via Fontanarossa
  2. Keep left and then get on E45 via the slip road to Palermo
  3. Stay on E45 and take exit Messina from E90
  4. Follow Viale Boccetta and turn right at the 1st cross street onto Via delle Carceri

 

How to Get From Catania to Riserva Naturale Oasi del Simeto

Riserva Naturale Oasi del Simeto is a scenic 21-minute drive from Catania in your car rental. Take Via Plebiscito and then go onto Asse Attrezzato di Catania. From there, take E45 and Tangenziale di Catania to SS 114 to Riserva Naturale Oasi del Simeto.
