There are different seats available depending on the age of the child. A maximum of two child car seats or one seat and one booster can be installed in any vehicle at the same time.

Infant Car Seats

Perfect for tiny adventurers, our infant car seats are suitable for babies up to one year old and weigh up to 20 pounds (9 kg). For safety, infant car seats should be rear-facing in the back seats of the vehicle.

Convertible Car Seats

Hertz offers convertible car seats for children up to 40 inches (101 cm) in height and 20-40 pounds (8 kg-18 kg). While this car seat type can be forward-facing, it’s recommended to be placed rear-facing until your child reaches the upper height and weight limits.

Booster Seats

For the older and larger kids, we offer belt-positioning booster seats. They're designed for children who've outgrown the convertible seats, weighing up to 55 pounds. Installed in the back seat, our booster seats ensure the vehicle's seatbelt fits your child properly for maximum safety.
