Driving In and Around Pullman

  • Downtown Pullman has on-street parking for a maximum of two hours. There are numerous parking metered spaces near the WSU campus, with hourly rates.
  • Fine Arts Garage (99163) offers parking all weekend and from 5am-5pm Monday to Friday. There are both hourly and flat rates.
  • Terrell Library Garage (99163) has 180 spaces and is open 24 hours a day.

 

  • State Route 270 (SR 270) runs from east to west through Pullman. East it heads into Idaho, while west connects with US 195 just outside the city. This 10-mile route is notable for linking WSU with the University of Idaho.
  • State Route 27 (SR 27) begins just south of Pullman, where it links up with US 195. It then cuts north through the city and follows a winding route to the Spokane Valley.
  • US Route 195 (US 195) runs north to south through Washington, although its southern tip is found just over the border in Idaho. It skirts to the west of Pullman and continues north to Spokane.

 

How to get from Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport to Washington State University

Depending on traffic, it’s only around five minutes to drive to the Washington State University campus in your rental car at Pullman:

  1. Leave the Hertz car rental lot on Airport Rd.
  2. Stay left on Airport Rd / Pullman Airport Rd.
  3. Take a left for Airport Rd / Terre View Dr.
  4. Take a right for Grimes Way.

 

How to get from Pullman to Spokane

Spokane is around 75 miles north of Pullman in your rental car, a drive that’ll take you between 90 minutes and two hours. Take North West Davis Way, following signs for SR 270/US 195. Take a right on to the US 195 North and follow for 70 miles. Keep right for I-90 East/Spokane.
