How to get from car rental in Tyler to Dallas

It takes around one hour and 40 minutes to drive the 100 miles from our car rental lot in Tyler to Dallas:

  1. Leave the Tyler car rental parking lot on Loop 323.
  2. Head south on S SW Loop 323 and make a U-turn.
  3. Use the left two lanes to turn on to TX 364 Spur W.
  4. Turn left on to TX 31 W and take the Toll 49 N exit (this is a toll road).
  5. Merge on to TX 49 Loop/Toll 49 and take a right on to TX 49 Loop.
  6. Turn left at the second cross street.
  7. Take the slip road to Dallas and merge on to I-20 W.
  8. Keep right at the fork and continue on TX-557 Spur W, following signs for US 80 W/Dallas.
  9. Continue on the US 80 W and merge on to I-30 W.
  10. Use the left lane to take Exit 46B towards Ervay St.
  11. Arrive in downtown Dallas.
