  • 3273 Post Road Parking (02886) is an open-air surface lot behind the Warwick Center for the Arts, next to Warwick City Hall.
  • Rocky Point State Park (02889) offers a dedicated parking lot and plenty of on-street parking for your car rental, close to the Narragansett Bay waterfront.
  • Oakland Beach (02889) has around 90 parking spaces along the beachfront, overlooking Greenwich Bay.

 

  • Interstate 95 (I-95) is a north-south highway along the east coast. It enters Rhode Island from the Connecticut border, then passes through Warwick and Providence on its way into Massachusetts, toward Boston.
  • US Route 1 (US-1) follows a similar route to I-95, connecting Warwick to Providence and Brown University. It also travels southwest into Connecticut.
  • Rhode Island Route 117 (RI-117) starts at RI-14 in Coventry and runs east to Warwick, before heading north towards Cranston.

 

How to Get From Warwick to Providence

Providence is just a 15-minute drive from our Warwick car rental location.

  1. Leave the Hertz car rental lot on Post Road.
  2. Turn left onto the T.F. Green Airport Connector Road.
  3. Take the slip road on your right to join I-95 N.
  4. Follow I-95 N for around eight miles, before taking the US-6 West exit.
  5. Keep right at the fork to continue onto Exit 22A to arrive in Downtown Providence.

 

How to Get From Warwick to Goddard Memorial State Park

It takes just 15 minutes to drive from our Warwick car rental location to Goddard Memorial State Park. Just head south along US-1 for around five miles. Then, take a left onto Old Forge Road and continue onto Ives Road, until you arrive at the park.
