Main Routes in Kansas City

  • Interstate 70 (I-70) passes through Kansas City from east to west on the south side of the Missouri River, connecting KC with Topeka and St. Louis.
  • Interstate 435 (I-435) is a highway that encircles central Kansas City across two states, crossing both the Missouri River and the Kansas River. It joins with all major routes in and out of the city –  and passes the airport.
  • Interstate 35 (I-35) threads through Kansas City from north to south, connecting with Des Moines to the north and Wichita in the south.

 

Kansas City to St. Louis
