  5. Take the exit for Southeast Drive from TX-289 Loop East.
  6. Continue to Nolan County.
  7. Take the exit for I-20 East from US-84 East.
  8. Follow I-20 East and I-30 East to E R L Thornton Freeway in Dallas.
  9. Take exit 45B from I-30 East.

 

How to get from Lubbock to Amarillo

Amarillo is less than two hours’ drive from Lubbock with your car rental. Simply take I-27 N out of Downtown and remain on this route for around 120 miles. Once you arrive on the city outskirts, take the exit onto US-87 N and continue into the city.
