How to Get From Aspen Pitkin County Airport To Aspen

It’s around a 10-minute drive from Aspen Pitkin County Airport to the center of town.

  1. From the Hertz car rental parking lot, head southeast on West Airport Road.
  2. Take a right turn onto Airport Road and keep right.
  3. Merge on to CO-82 and continue east, following signs for Aspen.
  4. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout to stay on CO-82 East.
  5. Turn right onto North 7th Street, then left onto West Main Street.
  6. Make a left turn onto North Mill Street.
  7. Continue right onto North Galena Street to reach the center of town.

 

How to Get From Aspen to Denver

It takes just over three hours to drive by rental car from Aspen to Denver. From Downtown, use CO-82 West to get on to I-70 heading east. Then take exit 261 to merge onto US 6 East and continue on to US 287 to reach Colorado’s exciting state capital city.
