Car Rental - Budapest Airport Terminal 2

At the time of rental the driver must present a valid national driving license, which has been held for at least 1 year.

For all non-European Union renters an International Driving Permit (IDP) is highly recommended. An IDP translates the national license into various languages and is on its own, without the national driving license, not acceptable.

Driver's licences issued by the People's Republic of China may be accepted provided you present an official Hertz Certification form. Hertz China will issue this form on Hertz notepaper and will incorporate the Hertz China Corporate seal. A scanned copy of the original licence will appear on the Certification form. The Certification form is valid until the expiry date of the Driver's Licence. BOTH the Certification and the original licence MUST be produced at the time of rental.

If you hold a Driver's Licence issued in Vietnam, you need to present the original licence together with an authorised translation issued by the Vietnamese Ministry of Transport. If both documents are presented at time of rental these licences are acceptable worldwide.

Extra day is charged after 29 minutes over 24 hour rental period.

A one way rental is a rental which starts at one location and terminates at another.

Availability is subject to location restrictions and vehicle type.

A fee may apply for this service and will be advised at time of reservation.

Hertz vehicles may be driven and returned in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark (Copenhagen only), Finland (Helsinki only), France, Germany, Italy (excluding Sicily), Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway (Oslo only), Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden (Stockholm and Gothenburg) and Switzerland.

Hertz rates do not include fuel. All Hertz vehicles are rented with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank or a local refuelling charge will apply in addition to the cost of the fuel.

Fuel Purchase Option (FPO). For convenience, you may purchase a tank of fuel from Hertz at the time of rental at a price that is competitive with local fuel stations. This method eliminates the need for you to refill the tank before returning. Please be aware that we are unable to give a refund for unused fuel.
