Free Car Rental Days - Hertz

Free Car Rental Day(s)*

Accumulate 15 paid rental day credits and earn one Free Rental Day certificate. Earn one credit for every qualified paid rental day when using company’s HBR Corporate Discount Program Number (CDP#). New accounts receive 10 credits just for enrolling. Earn double credit for all rentals completed during the first 90 days of your enrollment.

*Taxes and fees excluded. Terms and conditions apply. Local government and municipalities are excluded from earning Free Rental Day certificates.


Account History - Hertz

Account History

HBR administrators have access to their company’s account activity 24/7 in the Hertz Business Rewards Portal. Information includes closed rentals and accumulated paid rental day credits. Newly enrolled accounts will receive portal login information within 48 hours of account enrollment.


PERS - Hertz

Roadside Service

Premium Emergency Roadside Assistance is included when HBR accounts rent on business with the HBR CDP# at the airport using the contract rates. Premium Emergency Roadside Assistance reduces your financial liability for services requiring remedies due to an accident or collision.

*For rentals with pick-up after 09/15/19. Roadside service included on business rentals only at U.S. corporate airport locations and US participating licensee airport locations.


Additional Driver - Hertz

Additional Driver††

When you book your business rental at the contract rate using your HBR CDP#, your colleagues become authorized operators. Your fellow employees are not required to complete an additional form, be present at time of rental or pay an additional fee.

No Late Return Fee - Hertz

No Late-Return Fee

Running behind? We’ll waive your $12 late fee when renting with your company HBR CDP#.


No Return Charge Fee - Hertz

Return-Change Fee

Return your car to a different location and we’ll waive the $10 fee when you use your company HBR CDP#.

**Renter must notify us of an extension of your rental by the return date and time previously scheduled by calling 1-800-654-4174. One way drop fees may still apply.



Enrollment

Is there a fee for Hertz Business Rewards?
There is no cost to enroll in the program and the account is free.

Do we have to cancel our account with another car rental company?
You are not required to cancel your accounts with any other company and you are never obligated to use Hertz.


Account Information

After joining Business Rewards, can my company be billed directly for all traveling employees?
Hertz offers billing options that fit your company’s needs. Whether you need business travelers to charge their rentals to a company-guaranteed account or a Corporate Monthly Billing Statement to track employee rental activity, Hertz will work with you. Contact Customer Service at 1-888-777-3807 or hertzbusinessrewards@hertz.com for more information.

How do I change the address or contact name on my Business Rewards Program?
E-mail us at businessrewardssalesteam@hertz.com and we will update your account information.


Free Rental Days*

How does a company earn Free Rental Days in the Business Rewards Program?

  • The company's travelers must use the company's unique Business Rewards CDP# when booking Hertz reservations.
  • Enrolled companies will earn one credit for every qualified paid rental day.
  • Accumulate 15 rental credits and earn one Free Rental Day certificate.
  • New accounts receive 10 credits just for enrolling.
  • Earn double credit for all rentals completed during the first 90 days of your enrollment.

Do I earn credit toward Free Rental Days for all my Hertz rentals?
Rental credits are awarded and bonus credits are earned only for rental days relating to paid, qualifying rentals using a Business Rewards CDP#.

Do I earn rental credits when renting outside of the U.S.?
All qualifying rentals, regardless of the rental location, earn credits when your company’s Business Rewards CDP # is included in the rental agreement.

How does my company obtain the Free Rental Day certificates we earn?
When you make your reservations using your company's Business Rewards CDP #, Hertz will automatically track your rentals. To receive your earned free day certificates, the company administrator must log onto the Hertz Business Rewards Admin Portal and redeem.

Where can my company's free rental day certificates be redeemed?
Business Rewards Free Rental Day certificates can be redeemed for use on rentals at participating locations in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico only.

Can lost Free Day certificates be replaced?
Free Rental Day certificates will not be replaced if expired, lost, stolen or destroyed. Certificates mailed by Hertz to the contact at the address we have on record and not returned to Hertz by the U.S. Postal Service will not be reissued for any reason.

Can my company get retroactive Business Rewards credit for rentals that did not include the company Business Rewards CDP#?
No. Only qualifying paid rentals containing the unique Business Rewards CDP are eligible.


Hertz Gold Plus Rewards®

Can Business Rewards members also join Hertz Gold Plus Rewards®?

Yes. Your company's frequent travelers are entitled to complimentary membership in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, our loyalty program for individuals.

How do my company's traveling employees enroll in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards?
Click here to obtain complimentary membership in Hertz Gold Plus Rewards. Please refer to your Business Rewards Enrollment email to obtain the PIN code required to access the form or contact the Business Rewards Sales Team at 1-888-777-3807 or businessrewardssalesteam@hertz.com.


Rates and Reservations

Can I make reservations through a travel agent and still receive Business Reward benefits?
Yes. Please make sure your travel agent uses your company's exclusive Business Rewards CDP# to receive all the program benefits.

How do I make reservations using my Business Rewards CDP#?
Please visit hertz.com and add CDP# under the "Enter a Discount or Promo Code" section, call the dedicated Business Rewards reservations number at 1-888-777-3807, or contact your travel agent.

Can Business Rewards members use coupons or other discounts?
Yes, many coupons (with a Promotion Coupon number) and special offers can be used with this program. However, PCs are generally not permitted in conjunction with contract rates for this program. A PC# must be provided at the time of reservation. Please read the offer's terms and conditions for any exclusions.

Are Business Rewards program rates valid at all Hertz locations?
Yes, Hertz Business Travel Rates are valid at airport locations and special rates are offered at neighborhood locations.
