Three New American Icons. One legendary partnership.
When Shelby and Ford collaborated on a high-performance Mustang after winning Le Mans and the sports car racing world championship, Hertz joined the victory lap with a special version of the car for its 1966 rental fleet. This collaboration led to the unique Shelby American and Hertz “Rent-A-Racer” program and the creation of Shelby American cars specially designed for Hertz.

The new vehicles pay tribute to the original “Rent-A-Racer,” the legendary 1966 Ford Shelby GT350-H, and build on Hertz’s legacy to give drivers the unique opportunity to drive elite, high-performance vehicles they can’t find anywhere else.
