
Hertz aims to bring up to 5,200 rental EVs to Denver for availability to Hertz customers and rideshare drivers.


Hertz is supporting expanded EV fleets by adding charging capacity at its locations and accelerating public charging infrastructure in partnership with third parties. Hertz is sharing its “Hertz Charging Opportunity Index” with Denver to help inform city planning for electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Hertz is Partnering with Montbello Career and Technical High School to provide EV training materials, including a donated electric vehicle, that the school will incorporate into its automotive curriculum. Additionally, Hertz is making summer job opportunities available through the Denver Youth Employment Program.


Hertz is bringing EVs to Denver that will be available to rideshare drivers. To date, nearly 50,000 drivers have rented a Hertz EV, completing over 24 million fully electric trips across 260 million miles.
