  • New York State Route 27 (NY 27) runs from New York City to Montauk Point. It’s also known as Sunrise Highway between Queens and Southampton.
  • Montauk Highway is made up of NY 27, NY 27A, CR 80 and CR 85. It forms Main Street in East Hampton, before continuing to Napeague State Park and Montauk.
  • New York State Route 114 (NY 114) starts in East Hampton and cuts north to Greenport, via two ferry crossings.

How to Get From East Hampton Airport to East Hampton Village

It takes around 10 minutes to drive your rental car from the airport to East Hampton Village. Leaving the Hertz car rental parking lot at East Hampton Airport, turn right on to Daniels Hole Road. After one mile, turn left onto Montauk Highway and continue for three miles into East Hampton.

 

How to Get From East Hampton to Montauk Point State Park

Montauk Point State Park is less than a 30-minute drive from East Hampton in your rental car. Just follow the Montauk Highway (NY 27) through Napeague State Park and Hither Hills State Park, until you reach the Montauk Lighthouse parking lot.
