  • Empire Garage (59101) is located on North Broadway, has 500 spaces for your Billings car rental and is close to the Western Heritage Center and several restaurants.
  • Park I (59101) offers hourly parking Monday to Friday and is ideally situated nearby the Moss Mansion Museum.
  • On-street parking can be found across downtown Billings. These can be paid from one of 800 parking meters.
  • Interstate 90 (I-90) is an east-to-west freeway which runs along the south of Billings, into Wyoming in the south and west towards Idaho and Bozeman. You can also use it to visit the Crow Reservation in the southeast. Renting a car makes it easier to discover Billings and travel across the state.
  • Montana Highway 87 (MT 87) connects north and south Montana. Take the highway west out of Billings center to head towards Great Falls.
  • Montana Highway 3 (MT 3) is Billings’ main highway, which branches off from I-90. Use this road to reach Billings Logan International Airport, north of the city center.

How to Get from Billings to Bozeman

The city of Bozeman is just over a two-hour drive with your rental car from Billings via I-90. Head here for a weekend in the Rocky Mountains filled with art, technology and dinosaurs.

  1. Leave the city via South 27 Street.
  2. Turn right to merge onto I-90 W.
  3. Stay on this route for 140 miles and two hours.
  4. Use Exit 309 to take US-191/Main Street.
  5. Follow signs for Bozeman/West Yellowstone.
  6. Turn left onto South Church Avenue to arrive.
