Driving In and Around Stuart

  • Sailfish Public Parking (34994) is located right next to the Roosevelt Bridge, close to Sailfish ballpark and Sunset Bay Marina.
  • 2351 SE Monterey Rd Parking lot (34996) is on the east side of Stuart, surrounded by local stores and businesses. It’s also near to the Stuart Causeway for Stuart Beach.
  • Stuart Beach (34996) has ample free parking for your Stuart car rental – like all Martin County beaches.

 

  • US Route 1 (US 1) is the north-south east coast route that takes you all the way from the Canadian border to Key West. It runs through Stuart and is a scenic way to explore all that this coast has to offer with your Hertz rental car.
  • Interstate 95 (I-95) also connects Canada and all of the east coast with Miami in Florida. It runs north-south just to the west of Stuart and can be accessed via highways 76 and 714.
  • State Road A1A (A1A) is the most coastal route in Florida, passing through the oceanfront towns and often right along the beaches, as in Stuart.

 

How to Get From Stuart to Miami

The fastest way to Miami from Stuart is a drive of around two hours with your holiday or business rental car. Just go along the I-95 S and then:

  1. Head south on S Colorado Ave.
  2. Continue on to FL-76 and follow for six miles.
  3. Merge on to the I-95 S and stay on it. Note, there are some toll sections.
  4. Leave the I-95 S at Exit 1B for US 41.

 

How to Get From Stuart to West Palm Beach

For the glamor of West Palm Beach, head south on the FL-76 and then join the I-95 S. Leave it at Exit 70, joining FL-704 E. Take a left from that on to S Tamarind Avenue and you’ll reach your destination. Renting a car makes it easier to explore Stuart.
