How to Get From Hollywood, FL to Miami Beach

Miami is about an hour’s drive from Hollywood, Florida in your rental car depending on traffic conditions.

  1. Leave the car rental center at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, joining Terminal Drive to merge on to southwest 2nd Avenue.
  2. At the roundabout, take the first exit on to Perimeter Road.
  3. Turn left, then right at the lights on to Griffin Road.
  4. Take a left to merge on to I-95, then stay on this road for about 20 miles.
  5. Keep right to take exit 4 on to I-195, then use Alton Road and 17th street to reach the glamorous sands.

 

How to Get From Hollywood, FL to Key West

It takes around four hours to drive the 179 miles in your rental car from Hollywood to Key West, Florida’s southernmost point. Drive south to Miami on I-95, then take exit 3A on to FL-26. After using FL-874 to reach Homestead, join US 1 to drive along Florida’s epic archipelago.
