  • Arizona State Route 101 (AZ-101) is a beltway around the north-east of Phoenix connecting Scottdale with other Phoenix’s suburbs – Glendale, Tempe, MesaGilbert and Chandler.
  • Arizona State Route 202 (AZ-202) rims around the eastern and southern areas of Phoenix and provides access to Interstate 10.
  • Interstate 10 (I-10) passes to the south-west of Scottsdale and connects Phoenix metropolitan area to Tucson in the south and all the way to California in the west.

How to Get From Scottsdale to Phoenix

It takes 20 minutes to drive the 13 miles from our Scottsdale car rental center on North Scottsdale Road to Phoenix.

  1. Take East Indian School Road from the city center towards North 64th Street.
  2. Turn left onto North 64th Street and drive to East McDowell Road.
  3. Follow McDowell Road and then turn left onto North 52nd Street.
  4. Turn right to take AZ-202 Loop West and follow it to Exit 1A.
  5. Take I-10 and follow it to exit 148 onto Washington Street, which will lead you to downtown Phoenix.

 

How to Get From Scottsdale to Sedona

Our Scottsdale car rental location is just a 2-hour drive from Sedona. Just get on AZ-101 Loop North from East Indian School Road. Follow AZ-101 Loop North and I-17 North to AZ-179 North in Yavapai County. You’ll need to drive for 82 miles on I-17 North, then take Exit 298 towards Sedona
