  • Grand Central  Parkade: Lower Plein Street, Cape Town Ward 115, 8001 Cape Town.

The three main roads in and out of Cape Town are:

  • N1 National Route: Highway that goes from Cape Town towards the north to cities such as Bloemfontein, Pretoria, and Johannesburg.
  • N2  National Route: Highway heading east to the Garden Route and other destinations such as George and Durban along the south coast of South Africa.
  • N7  National Route: A route that goes to the border of the neighboring country Namibia.

To get from Cape Town International Airport (Matroosfontein, Cape Town, 7490, South Africa) to Cape Town City Center: 

  1. Follow Ring Road and Airport Approach Road to N2 in Kanana (5 min, 4.0 km). 
  2. Then, take the N2 to Newmarket Street in Foreshore, using the Strand Street exit (11 min, 14.8 km). 
  3. Drive to Strand Street in Cape Town City Centre.
