Car Rental - Henri Coanda Airport

At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid national driver's license which has been held for at least 1 year.

An International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended for non-European Union renters and mandatory for all United States renters. The IDP translates the national licence into various languages and is on its own, without the national licence, not acceptable.

Driver’s licenses issued by the people’s Republic of China are not accepted for renting a vehicle. This applies even if an official translation, certification, or any supplementary documentation is provided. Only a valid international driver’s permit (IDP) accompanied by the corresponding valid driver’s license from the issuing country is accepted at the time of rental.

If you hold a Driver's Licence issued in Vietnam, you need to present the original licence together with an authorised translation issued by the Vietnamese Ministry of Transport. If both documents are presented at time of rental these licences are acceptable worldwide.

Extra day is charged after 29 minutes over 24 hour rental period.

A one way rental is a rental which starts at one location and terminates at another.

Availability is subject to location restrictions and vehicle type.

A fee may apply for this service and will be advised at time of reservation.

Hertz rates do not include fuel.

For 1-2 days rental, the Hertz vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as shown at the time of pick-up. If vehicle is returned with less fuel, the missing fuel will be charged, plus a refuelling service charge in the amount of € 30.25 (including tax).

For 3 or more days rental, the fuel available in the vehicle at the time of pick up must be prepaid at time of pick up. Upon return of the vehicle, you can request a refund for the amount of fuel in the tank at the time of return. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than the fuel prepaid, a refuelling service charge in the amount of € 30.25 (including tax) will apply. Any refund due will be processed through your credit/debit card. 

Please be advised the price per litre of fuel is calculated based on the average fuel price in the area.
