There are many ways to explore the city, and not only by car. You could set sail on a cruise along one of the famed canals and explore the city from the water – it’s not called the Venice of the north for nothing.

Or, do as the locals do and hire a bicycle to traverse the streets of ‘Dam on two wheels. When you’re done sightseeing, be sure to stop off for a delicious Stroopwafel.

San Francisco

Rotterdam

A busy port city with a brilliant mix of festivals, art and culture. Of everything Rotterdam has to offer, the buildings are some of the most impressive in the country – and the reason why it’s known as the architectural capital of Holland.

An impressive piece of architecture is the Erasmusbrug, a striking bridge which is the biggest and heaviest of its kind in Western Europe. See the city from new heights with a trip up the Euromast Tower. Standing at an impressive 185 meters high, you can gaze across the city and beyond.

Miami

The Hague

Located on the coast, The Hague is the perfect destination for beach goers looking to soak up the sunshine on golden sands.

History lovers will enjoy The Hague, it’s home to the Dutch government, as well as the Royal Family. The Binnenhof is where the government are based, and it’s one of the oldest parliament buildings in the world.

Soak up the art at Mauritshuis, home to some of the finest paintings by famed Dutch artists including Rembrandt and Vermeer.

Chicago

Utrecht

The fourth largest city in Holland, this beautiful city has canals and parks, historical buildings, lively restaurants, cafes and so much more. Take a paddle through the canals in a canoe, wander the old town, or tackle Dom Tower’s 465 steps for an impressive view.

For those who like to browse at their own pace, the Vredenburg market offers a large array of stalls to explore.

New York City

Haarlem

This small city is located just outside of Amsterdam, so it’s a great choice if you want to explore city life without the hustle and bustle of the capital.

A must-see is the City Hall which dates back to the 13th Century, as well as the historic Hofje van Bakenes, a 14th Century courtyard that has been unchanged for 700 years.
