Car Rental - Lukoa Airport

In order to rent a car, the driver (and all additional authorized drivers) must present the following documents:

• A Chinese mobile phone number.
• A valid driver's license that is issued by the People's Republic of China, including Provisional Driving Permit (PDP) issued by Chinese government. PDP is a document that allows holders of foreign driving license to drive in China for a period of 3 months and can be extended to 1 year if stay exceeds 3 months. For application of PDP, please refer to official websites of the Vehicle Administration Offices in the city where you arrive or call Hertz China for assistance.
• A valid passport or identification card from People's Republic of China.
• Original Visa (copy is NOT accepted).
• All documents must have a validity of at least 1 month beyond the car return date.
• Payment needs to be made via Alipay, WeChat or Chinese bank card (issued by China bank). International credit cards are not accepted. Foreign customers may bind their foreign credit cards to Alipay to complete the payment procedures at pickup counter. Alipay supports 16 languages. These include Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Turkish, Malay, Indonesian, Thai, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese. Simply download Alipay Apps and follow the procedures to bind your credit card(s) to Alipay.

Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan issued licences are not considered by authorities to be valid domestic Chinese drivers licenses.

Foreign drivers licenses whether accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP) or not will NOT be accepted.

Rented vehicles may only be driven in mainland China.

Registration plate restrictions exist in some cities restricting inner city travel at certain times and on certain days. Renters should familiarise themselves with local rules for cities they visit. Failure to observe plate restrictions can result in on the spot fines.

1. Deductible exemption service
   Available for purchase at service locations for an exemption of CNY1500 deductible resulted from loss and damage insurance;
2. Customers have the obligations to report accident timely and properly for insurance claim;
3. Deductibles apply based on exclusions and driver responsibilities

Claiming Policy

1. The following circumstances are not insured:　
   1. Reporting the accident after 48 hours of incidence;
   2. Drunk driving;
   3. Driving without a valid driving license;
   4. Escape from the accident

HERTZ REFUELING SERVICE (FSC) - A refuelling service is offered for your convenience if you chose to return the vehicle with less than a full tank of fuel. Hertz will refill the vehicle for you and the refuelling service charge of 100rmb will be added to the cost of the rental.
