The Hertz weekly rental base rate for Lyft Express Drive is as low as $219 per week. The base rate excludes taxes, fees, gas, and other additional charges. You’ll also be prompted for a refundable security deposit.

 

Hertz and Lyft Rideshare Program Requirements

Before you can start your first ride with Hertz and Lyft, make sure you meet these requirements:

  • Your account must be in good standing with Hertz
  • 25 years or older
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Have a valid credit card or debit card3

 

Frequently Asked Questions

A seven-day reservation is required. You’ll be eligible to extend your rental up to three times, every seven days. Every 28 days, the vehicle needs to be returned to the Hertz rental branch that it was originally rented from to open a new 28-day contract.

To join the Hertz and Lyft Rideshare Program, start an application online or download the Lyft Driver app and follow the prompts through to completion.
