Are there late return fees with Hertz?

Yes, you may be charged late fees if you fail to return the vehicle at the agreed time. Some locations offer a grace period of 29 minutes, but any later could cause you to be charged for an extra day’s rental. Check with the Hertz branch you’re returning to for more information.

What payment methods are accepted at Hertz?

Most major credit and debit cards are accepted here at Hertz. But for the best rates, it’s recommended to book and pay online to avoid fees. Check the Hertz Rental Qualifications for more information.

Are there any refueling options?

There are three refueling options. You can use pre-pay Hertz, pay on return or fill up and pay at a local gas station. Whether you plan to go on a long road trip or a short drive to the local towns, there’s a refueling option for you. Read your refueling options in more detail before renting.

Is liability protection available?

A collision damage waiver and theft protection are included with standard car hires from Hertz. In the event of damage or theft, the excess is limited. SuperCover is available with Hertz which eliminates the excess for accidents to provide extra peace of mind.
