  2. Use the left lane to merge onto I-26 West.
  3.  Follow I-26 West for around eight miles.
  4. Keep right at the fork to join I-240 East.

How to Get From Asheville to Charlotte

The journey from Ashville to Charlotte takes around two hours in your holiday rental car. Head east on I-240 and use the left two lanes to merge onto I-40 East. Take the exit onto US-321, before using the right lane to merge onto I-85 North. Continue along the highway into Charlotte, following signs for Downtown.
