How to Get From Gilbert to Tempe

It takes around 25 minutes to drive the 14 miles north from Gilbert in your car rental to neighboring Tempe.

  1. Leave central Gilbert via N Gilbert Road.
  2. Use the left two lanes to turn onto US-60 W.
  3. Take Exit 173 for Mill Avenue.
  4. Turn right onto S Mill Avenue.
  5. Join 5th Street to enter Downtown.
  6. Right, you’ll find Desert Financial Area and Arizona State University.

 

How to Get From Gilbert to Scottsdale

Scottsdale is just an 18-mile, 25-minute drive in your rental car from Gilbert. Just head north on N Gilbert Road, turn left on to Superstition Freeway and take a right on to AZ-101. Stay on this road for eight miles, then take Exit 47 to drive into Old Town Scottsdale.
