How to Get From Glasgow to Edingurgh

It takes one hour 13 minutes to drive the 48 miles from the Hertz Glasgow car rental lot to Edinburgh.

  1. Leave the Glasgow car rental lot and head to the M8 from Cowcaddens Road, A804 and exit 15.
  2. Follow the M8 to Calder Road/A71 in Edinburgh. Take the A71 exit from M8.
  3. Continue on A71. Take West Approach Road and Canongate to A1.

 

How to Get From Glasgow to Aberdeen

Aberdeen is just a two hour and 44-minute drive along a 145 mile stretch of road. Get onto the A90 from the M8 and follow this to Aberdeen.
