How to Get From Grenoble to Lyon

It takes around one hour and 30 minutes to drive the 70 miles from Grenoble to Lyon in your rental car.

  1. Leave the Grenoble car rental parking lot and follow Rue Jean Moulin to join the D6.
  2. Turn left on to the D1532, then take the D105F to join the A48.
  3. Follow the A48 for around 30 miles, then merge on to the A43 for a further 25 miles.
  4. Continue on to Boulevard Périphérique North and take Exit 6a into Lyon.

 

How to Get From Grenoble to Annecy

Annecy is just over an hour’s drive from Grenoble. Hop in your rental car and take the D6 and N87 out of the city, then merge on to the A41 and follow signs for Annecy.
