Downtown Portland

It’s a popular place to stay for visitors, as it offers easy access to everything the city has to offer. It’s also where you’ll find popular attractions like Pioneer Courthouse Square, the Oregon Historical Society and the ever-lively Portland Saturday Market. Pearl District

The Pearl District is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Portland, with trendy boutiques, art galleries and upscale restaurants on every corner. The area was once a bustling industrial hub but has since been transformed into a modern, urban oasis.

Nob Hill

The Portland Alberta Arts District is an eclectic neighborhood located in Northeast Portland. It has become a popular place to stay due to its unique, diverse and very artsy vibe. The area is known for its colorful murals, galleries and boutiques, making it a magnet for artists and creatives.

The area's history dates to the early 1900s and it was originally a working-class neighborhood, but it has undergone significant changes over the years. Now, the main attractions in the area include the Alberta Rose Theatre, which hosts live music and events, and the Last Thursday street fair, a monthly event featuring local artists and performers. The neighborhood also boasts a wide variety of restaurants and cafes, including copious vegan and vegetarian options.

Hawthorne

Head to Hawthorne and you’ll discover a truly vibrant neighborhood in Southeast Portland. Sellwood-Moreland

The neighborhood has a rich history, dating back to the late 1800s when it was one of Portland's first streetcar suburbs. Today, Sellwood-Moreland is home to a variety of fabulous attractions, including the Sellwood Riverfront Park, which offers unforgettable views of the Willamette River and is a popular spot for picnics and outdoor activities.

Several antique stores, boutiques and restaurants make it a destination for shopping and dining and the ideal destination for a lazy Saturday afternoon. One of the area's most popular attractions is the Oaks Amusement Park, which has been entertaining visitors since 1905 and features rides, games and a roller-skating rink.

Despite its quiet atmosphere, Sellwood-Moreland is just a short drive from downtown Portland, making it an ideal location for those who want to be close to the city without sacrificing peace and quiet.

Belmont

Belmont is a buzzing neighborhood in Southeast Portland popular for its independent stores, restaurants and bars. It’s home to a diverse population, and historic buildings like the Belmont Firehouse.

Visitors flock to Belmont to see Belmont Historic District, shop and dine on Belmont Street, and take in the hiking trails, gardens and reservoir at Laurelhurst Park. With its fun atmosphere, it’s easy to see why so many families, businesses and bars have decided to make this Portland neighborhood their home.

Division/Clinton

Foster-Powell

Located in Southeast Portland, Foster-Powell is another must-visit neighborhood, bordered by Powell Boulevard to the north, Foster Road to the south, and 82nd Avenue to the east. The area is home to a variety of businesses, restaurants and parks.

Some of the top spots to see in the neighborhood are the Foster Food Cart Pod with its variety of food vendors, from tacos to pizza to Thai food; as well as Kern Park and Laurelwood Park for easy Sunday walks.

With its friendly and welcoming feel, the Foster-Powell community has attracted a diverse population that share a love of its historic relevance and modern vibrance.
