These iconic pieces of Americana are exclusively coming to select Hertz locations this summer at Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, Phoenix and Tampa.

Exclusive, Custom-Made Design.
The Shelby GT500-H Mustangs will be set off with gold “Le Mans” dual racing stripes and set of special rocker stripes, along with Hertz Edition and Shelby 60th anniversary emblems. Inside, the Shelby and Hertz logos are on the seats, leather seat recovers, sill plates and floor mats; a numbered badge will be on the dash and under the hood. The supercharger on the Shelby GT500-H is gold hued for Hertz’s livery.
Less weight, more strength
Shelby cut 30 pounds by replacing the stock hood with a vented, ultra-light dry carbon fiber one that is also much stronger. The carbon hood is fully functional and focuses on cooling the supercharged engine bay. Working with the team at Ford, the added side vents are located strategically to pull heat off the exhaust manifold helping prevent heat soak maintaining optimum power.

Reinventing the wheel
The GT500-H is decked out with aluminum forged mono-block wheels. The black powder coated wheels are built with lightweight, strong, one-piece 6061-T6 forged aluminum.
