Drive your rental car southeast to Arches National Park. This area is famous for the gorgeous red rock formations that have been naturally created from wind and other elements to resemble arches. "Delicate Arch" is one of the most famous parts of the entire state. You can hike to see it and enjoy the stunning view of the surrounding rocks and mountainous region. Be aware that the temperature here can get extremely hot, so be sure to bring water and sunscreen. To avoid the heat and the majority of tourists, visit in the morning or evening when the sun is not as bright. At the trailhead at Wolfe Ranch, you can find Native American rock art in the shapes of horses, goats and other animals. Standing on these sacred lands almost makes you feel like you're on another planet.
